Haakan has a long career in tanker shipping having worked for some of the largest publicly listed tanker companies in the industry. After studies at the University of Stockholm he worked from the late '80s in the commercial departments of both private and publicly listed tanker Owners in Stockholm, Oslo, New York and Vancouver spending close to 10 years commercially managing the largest pool of Suezmax tankers.

Currently he is working as a broker at Charles R. Weber Company in Connecticut.

Having spent considerable time during the career to track and compile information in the tanker segment to improve earnings and reporting he looks forward to use his experience to further the digitization in the space.
